How to lay geomembrane?

　　Before laying, a comprehensive inspection of the laying base should be carried out in conjunction with relevant departments. Construction can only be carried out after the following conditions are met.

　　1. The laying base shall be solid and flat, and there shall be no debris such as tree roots, debris, stones, concrete particles, steel reinforcement heads, glass chips, etc. that may damage the geomembrane within a vertical depth of 25mm. When laid on backfill soil, the compaction degree of backfill soil shall not be less than 95%. The previous process (civil engineering or geotextile membrane laying) has been completed and accepted.

　　2. The laying of geomembrane should first transport the cut and numbered geomembrane blocks according to the on-site measurement situation to the corresponding positions on site. Check if the number of the laying area and each film is consistent. After confirmation, transport the film in place and immediately use sandbags for temporary anchoring. Check the overlap width of the membrane, which should not be less than 10cm.

　　3. When laying construction at special locations such as the foot of the slope, turns, and intersections of the slope in the reservoir area, it is necessary to check the smoothness and smoothness of the soil foundation during turns, and avoid negative slopes. When laying the membrane, it should be relaxed as much as possible to avoid hanging or wrinkling of the geomembrane due to tension.

　　4. During the laying process, the appearance of the membrane should be checked at any time to see if there are defects such as water marks, pits, holes, and creases. If any unqualified products are found, they should be replaced immediately.
